Yield: 6 servings
2 | lbs. | uncooked, large shrimp, butterflied | |

3/4 | cup | unsifted flour | |

|||
3/4 | cup | water | |
|
|||
1 | egg, slightly beaten | ||
|
|||
1 | tablespoon | sugar | |
|
|||
1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
|

Planters Peanut Oil | |||
|
Combine flour, water, egg, sugar and salt to make a batter. Dip shrimp into batter and fry in deep, hot (375 F.) Planters Peanut Oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
