Yield: 1 qt. baking dish
3 | eggs, slightly beaten | ||

1/2 | cup | sugar | |

|||
1/4 | teaspoon | salt | |
|
|||
2 | cups | milk, scalded | |
|
|||
1/2 | teaspoon | vanilla | |
|
|||
Sprinkle of Nutmeg | |||
|
Combine eggs, sugar and salt. Add milk and vanilla. Pour into 1 quart baking dish and sprinkle with nutmeg. Place dish in pan of hot water and bake at 325 F. until inserted knife comes out clean (about 30 minutes). Chill and serve.
